I wanted to remind you about a telephone town hall I’m hosting with my seatmates, Sen. John Braun and Rep. Ed Orcutt, tomorrow night. The phone number I sent out earlier in session was incorrect – please use the following information to join the call:
Dial toll-free (877) 229-8493, then enter pin number 112374.
During the hour-long call, which starts at 6:30 p.m., you can simply listen in or ask us questions live by pressing star (*) then 3 on your phone.
I look forward to a great discussion with our community about issues facing our region and our state.
Flood update
Last week, the House Capital Budget Committee held a public hearing on a proposal I’m sponsoring to provide funding for flood prevention efforts. I was pleased some of our local representatives from the flood authority were able to attend and help me make the case. You can read more about the hearing in this press release and in this story in the Centralia Chronicle. I remain focused on getting our region flood prevention funding, and I’m hopeful there is enough support in the Legislature to move forward.
As always, please feel free to contact my office anytime, or stop by if you’re in Olympia.
It’s an honor to serve you.
Sincerely,

Richard DeBolt
