House Republicans to hold media availability tomorrow

Group will discuss state sales tax increase proposal, budget solutions
The House Republicans will hold a media availability immediately following the House Health and Human Services Committee hearing tomorrow morning. The committee is expected to pass House Bill 2377, which would ask voters for a state sales tax increase of 0.3 percent from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2012. The details are as follows:
Who: House Republican Representatives with special guests: Initiative promoter Tim Eyman; and local taxpayers and small-business owners Carolyn Lattin, Debbie Lattin, Sherrie Kholmann, Alan Powell, Priscilla Terry, and Mike Lawrence; and Ken Morse, local Tea Party organizer.
When: Tuesday, April 21, 2009, immediately following the Health and Human Services Committee meeting, which begins at 8 a.m.
Where: Capital campus, John L. O’Brien Building, House Hearing Room A.
